We were honored to hear from Dr. Barbara Vanderhyden about her cutting edge research at The Ottawa Hospital. Dr. Vanderhyden, who is the recipient of the Distinguished Service to Cancer Research Award, has significantly advanced ovarian cancer research in Canada.

We also had the privilege of hearing the inspiring Jennifer Hollington – an ovarian cancer survivor – speaking about the life-saving, life-changing impact of Dr. Vanderhyden’s research.

Last but not least, Jennifer Van Noort, Chief Development Officer at Ottawa Hospital Foundation, spoke about the tremendous benefits and contributions of fundraising in support of cancer research and the new Ottawa Civic Hospital building.

This sold out event helped us raise $40,000 for The Ottawa Hospital, bringing us so much closer to SNOW’s goal of raising $100,000 for the construction of the SNOW Family Room in the new Ottawa Civic Hospital building. We’ve raised $72,000 in total so far – only $28,000 to go!
