The College of the Humanities at Carleton University and the Mahatma Gandhi Peace Council of Ottawa present a talk in the M.K. Gandhi Lecture series. The talk titled Ahimsa: A Way of Life, A Path to Peace. Mahatma Gandhi and Pope Francis will be presented by Professor Hope Fitz of Eastern Connecticut State University at 2:30 pm on Sunday, October 2, 2016 in Room 2200 River Building, Carleton University.
The lecture will be preceded by a short ceremony at 2:00 pm at the Gandhi statue in front of the River Building and followed by the rendering of some of Gandhi’s favorite hymns and a reception.
